New Maple Collection // You & Me

I am so excited to release my new collection of wood signs this week! I have previously come out with one sign at a time as I come up with new ideas. This time I will be releasing 7 new pieces all at once! I am calling it the Maple Collection. Here is a little backstory on it: All of the wood that I use is reclaimed. It is scrap wood from a furniture company. I have been collecting it for a few years. It is a mixture of Cherry, Maple, and Alder wood. You Do You

Something that I often catch myself doing is comparing myself to others.  I don't set out to do it, it just naturally happens. I even have a sign in my shop that is intended remind myself and others that comparison steals our joy but I still fall into the comparison trap. I am sure that social media doesn't help with this struggle.  Last night my husband and I were talking and I shared some of this struggle with him. As an artist I often find myself comparing to other people's artistic journeys. Thanks so much for stopping by! Having an art business has been a dream of mine for years. I have been so blessed by the opportunities that have come as a result of simply being faithful to create, learn and grow. My desire is to create artwork with encouraging words for your home using natural and sustainable resources.
