Small Business Saturday

November 26 is Small Business Saturday! It's a day to encourage and remind people in the busyness of Christmas shopping to support small and local businesses.

Over the years I have enjoyed finding online and local shops and getting to know the faces behind them. Owning a small business myself has taught me just how much hard work goes into running a business. Often, one or two people are doing all of the work of creating products, building a website, marketing, packaging, shipping, etc. Something that a large company hires many people to do. While it is a lot of work, I love getting to create and am passionate about what I do. I know that the artists and makers that I have listed below would say the same thing.  

I've created a list of small businesses that I either know personally, have purchased from, or both. A lot of them are from the Louisville area but not all.
